Rachael is the Director of Abrus Consulting Pty Ltd, and an environmental scientist with over ten years experience in the environmental field and in Aboriginal liaison.
Rachael has experience in writing documents for environmental approvals and management plans (environmental and cultural heritage), conducting environmental audits on mine sites and other industrial facilities, facilitating exploration on Indigenous land and providing technical and cultural advice in relation to land access, exploration licences, mines and the decommissioning of mines. Rachael’s experience includes rehabilitation, audits and assessment in relation to a range of mines and exploration tenements in northern and central Australia. She has presented at a range of conferences in the Northern Territory and Western Australia, with the most recent in January 2013 on Mine Closure - Aboriginal Stakeholder Involvement.
